Now that I think about it, I guess quality can be found in modern tractors, it's just harder to come by. It's the design I don't care for. That cub cadet looks good. My dad had an old Montgomery ward tractor from about 1982 that I still had up until a few years ago. It wouldn't die and it looked good. Ok I know that sounds wierd but I like the old designs.

I know what you are saying. I call the tractors of today girl tractors, because you don't have to lift your leg when you get on. It's all open where the shifter used to be:laughing:

I just bought another snapper ad off ebay for $10!! vintage 1984. got my binder with plastic page protectors started for my collection which shall be growing. i'm still figuring out how to use the forum, this is my first one. i want to get pics of my ads and mowers up here. will try to work on that later today.
